Calculate your average blood pressure and heart rate readings.
Keeping track of your blood pressure and heart rate is an important part of managing your overall health. You enter multiple readings and the calculator will provide an average, giving you a clearer picture of your heart’s condition over time.
By seeing your average numbers, you can spot trends or changes that might need attention before your next doctor’s visit. This can help you and your healthcare provider make better decisions about your care.
Using this tool regularly makes it easier to monitor your health at home, especially if you have conditions like high blood pressure or heart disease. It also helps you share accurate information with your medical team, improving communication and support.
How to use the calculator:
- Take your blood pressure and heart rate readings using your BP monitor and collect the results throughout a period of time, for example, 7 days.
2. Enter each reading (systolic, diastolic, and heart rate) into the calculator.
3. Add as many readings as you have in order to get an accurate average. You can enter just AM or PM, but for the best results it’s recommended to do both.
4. Click “Calculate the average” to see your average blood pressure and heart rate.
5. Use these averages to monitor your health over time and/or share them with your doctor.
If you would like to keep track of your blood pressure and heart rate over a 7 day period you can download our BP diary here.
