NURSE PRACTITIONER - Closing date Monday 2nd August 2010
Beccles Medical Centre is a large and very busy general practice with 10 GP Partners serving
a patient population of 20,000+. We have an established Nurse Pratitioner team and are now seeking
to emply an additional fulltime qualified Nurse Practitioner on a permanent basis.
Duties includes working closely with the GPs in our Same Day Team dealing with minor illness/injury
and participation in the management of Long Term Conditions. The NP team are also involved in an
innovative new scheme that helps to prevent acute hospital admissions. The successful applicant will
have a recognised NP qualification and be a qualified prescriber or in the process of gaining qualification.
Although this is a full time position we would consider two part time applicants.
Salary £33,302 - £38,271 dependent upon experience and qualifications.

- 10 full time equal partners & 1 part time salaried GP

- 8 sessions per week
- A Nursing team of 5 nurse practitioners, 6 practice nurses and 2 health care assistants

- Partners provide medical cover for on site Community Hospital with Minor Injuries Unit
- Teach medical students from the University of East Anglia Medical School
- Active involvement in successful Waveney PBC company
