I started working as a part-time Receptionist at the Practice in April 1997 after bringing up my four children. Over the next few years I broadened my knowledge of work in general practice by taking on some secretarial work before progressing into a Management role. In 2008/2009 I undertook a Diploma in Primary Care Management and my current role within the Management Team encompasses various aspects of practice administration including HR for the whole practice, training, complaints and ensuring we have relevant protocols, policies and procedures in place to meet the exacting standards of the CQC [Care Quality Commission]. Out of work I enjoy sewing and handicrafts,
travelling and spending quality time with family and friends.
