FLU CAMPAIGN 2017 at Beccles Medical Centre
We have had a very successful flu campaign so far with over 3,500 patients already having attended for their flu vaccination
💉Our walk-in flu sessions will end on Friday 27th October so please try and come along before then if you are eligible for a flu jab
💉After this date, flu vacinnations will still be available by appointment only
If you are 65 or over, classed as at risk due to having a long term condition or you’re a carer for a family member then you are eligible for the seasonal influenza vaccination this year.
Children's flu vaccines are available for children who are aged two and three on 31st August 2017 [that is, children born between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2015].
Children in reception class and schools years one, two, three and four will receive the vaccine at school - please check with your child's school for dates.
Children aged 2-17 with long-term health conditions can attend the surgery for the vaccine
Helen Heales and Lindsey Barthorpe are both Nurse Prescribers and joined our clinical team at the beginning of November
Emma Williamson, Emergency Care Practitioner [ECP] joined us on Monday 16th October and is working 5 days each week
Dr Lauren Whittaker joined us on 10th October and is working at the practice 3 days each week.
