Antenatal Clinic

Patients are seen by the Midwife at clinics by appointment.

The Baby Clinics are run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by the Health Visitors. Our Practice Nurses run simultaneous clinics for immunisations and these are by appointment only.

Long-term Condition Clinics

The Nursing Team run clinics for all long-term conditions including diabetes, asthma and chronic heart disease. You will normally receive an annual invitation to attend and the letter will give details of how to book an appointment.

Family Planning

The practice provides a full range of family planning services. Most of our Nurses are trained in giving contraceptive advice.

Well Woman Checks

The Practice Nurses can provide information on various women’s health issues including the menopause, HRT, breast awareness. They also perform smear tests.

Physio_And_PatientMinor Surgery

Most of the Doctors carry out minor surgical procedures in Beccles Hospital by appointment.

Non-NHS Examinations

The Doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone for an appointment and for details of charges for these services.

Counselling

There is a Counsellor working from the practice who is employed by the PCT. There is also a Mental Health Link Worker. Appointments are available only after referral by your Doctor. Patients Over 75 Years If you are aged 75 years or over, you should be seen annually either by your Doctor, the Practice Nurse, District Nurse or Health Visitor. This can be arranged at the surgery or, if that is not possible, a home visit will be arranged.
